  Mike Ruiz left his dog here for a 3 week program to have further training. He got his dog back 10 pounds lighter, with cuts and abrasions on his feet and legs, acting terrified of the "woman" who trained him. I use the term "woman" loosely, as demonic nightmare witch takes too long to type in every sentence. They did not let his dog sleep on the bed he provided, and did not feed the dog. When Mike requested his food back that he'd left THEY SHIPPED HIM ANOTHER DOG'S PRESCRIPTION FOOD. Since, they have deleted all negative comments on their facebook page and blocked anyone that they found detrimental in an attempt to make themselves look better. They also had the audacity to use a picture of Mike's dog on their social media! NOW- they are refusing to answer any of his emails or requests for a refund on their non-service, which is, in actuality, abuse.
  
  I have personally pulled from my extensive contact lists of other publicists, and have reported these awful people for animal neglect and abuse, as well as elevating this issue to local news outlets and the BBB. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! There are many other wonderful options to help your dog with training, and these jokes of humans are NOT THE ONES.

  My experience with Haggerty training could not have been worse. I spend most of my spare time working with rescues and organizations to prevent the neglect and abuse of dogs so to have it happen to my dog at the hand of Babette Haggerty was heartbreaking and infuriating. I left my dog with her for 3 weeks so that he could get some elevated training . She assured me that she would keep me updated with photos and news. I got 1 photo in 3 weeks. When I finally picked him up I was horrified to find my once muscular pitbull mix with his ribs visible. He had abrasions on his knees and feet and was terrified of Babette. When I got there , he seemed distraught running between my legs with his tail between his legs and would not go to her when called. This is surprising since, for $3800, I would have expected him to follow commands swiftly and obediently. This is a dog that is super gregarious with all humans and has Never shown fear towards a human ever. I left the facility and went directly to my vet to make sure I wasn't over reacting. She confirmed everything that I suspected. My dog had lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks despite having 5 weeks of food on hand, he had been sleeping on an abrasive surface causing the abrasions despite the fact that I had left a bed for him to sleep on. My vet didn't hesitate to write a report documenting these things as highly unusual for my dog. I emailed Babette asking for either an explanation or a refund. I haven't received either. I did receive a box in the mail with 6 cans of leftover prescription dog food. The problem was that it wasn't mine. It was a different type leading me to believe that she took someone else's food to appease me. As if all of this wasn't disturbing enough, when I picked my dog up, he had not been taught a single thing other than nervously licking his feet until the are raw (which he never did prior) I feel that I paid $3800 to have my dog starved and neglected. Still waiting for a response from these people. She just deleted all of many negative reviews off of Facebook including mine. That's how she stays afloat, by misleading people and taking their money.

  I could not be happier with the experience that my family and both my dogs have had at Haggerty Dog Training. Abby and Buster are excited to go every morning and are behaving significantly better. Babette has gone above and beyond and I would highly recommend her and her entire staff for your dogs.
